Thank you for being here.
Whether this is your first time in therapy or you're just looking for a different approach, welcome. Sharing thoughts and emotions with others can be challenging. This is why I strive to create a safe, genuine, and non-judgmental space for building trust in the client-therapist relationship. My Approach
Every person brings a unique history and set of experiences to therapy. The following frameworks guide how I work — not as rigid methods, but as flexible tools I draw from to meet each client where they are.

Ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, socioeconomic status, health conditions, and religion are all important aspects of our cultural make up. Understanding how these different factors intersect with each other is essential.
My practice is committed to supporting and keeping up-to-date with research that impacts the ethnic- and gender-diverse communities I serve. I hold a particular interest in working with immigrant families, specifically Latino and Asian Americans, and often incorporate an exploration of cultural roots and identity in treatment. As an affirming therapist, I provide therapeutic support for LGBTQ+, gender-diverse folx, and people in alternative relationship structures. Continuous self-exploration is an important part of my role as a clinician, and I work to identify and address biases when they arise.

Acceptance and change can be a difficult balance to grasp. Dialectical Behavior Therapy, or DBT, assumes that people try the best they can, want to improve, and can do better. It is an evidence-based treatment that consists of teaching four core skills modules: Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance, and Interpersonal Effectiveness. DBT has been shown to be effective in treating a wide range of mental health conditions including depression, trauma, and borderline personality disorder.
While a full program requires a year-long participation in individual and group therapy, DBT-Informed utilizes DBT principles and teaches skills during individual work with clients. This provides a flexible and personalized approach to help individuals manage intense emotions and relationship challenges.

The relationships we form early in life shape how we connect with others, regulate our emotions, and see ourselves in the world. Attachment-Based Therapy explores these foundational bonds — with caregivers, family members, and significant others — to understand how past experiences influence present patterns in relationships and emotional wellbeing.
This approach is particularly meaningful for individuals navigating relational trauma, difficulties with trust and intimacy, or a persistent sense of disconnection from others. It is also well-suited for those exploring how cultural and family dynamics have shaped their sense of self and belonging. By bringing awareness to these patterns in a safe and supportive therapeutic space, clients can begin to develop more secure, fulfilling connections — with others and with themselves.
