I always aim to create a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space for my clients who come in for a variety of reasons. If you are seeking support and a deeper understanding of yourself, I can guide you on your journey to a healthier and fuller life. I provide individual and group counseling services and value working with people of diverse backgrounds.

I earned my Ph.D. from Tennessee State University’s Counseling Psychology program (APA-accredited) and my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from University at Albany. My experience includes providing both brief and long-term individual therapy as well as various forms of group therapy. While I have clinical training in working with adults, adolescents, and children, I am particularly energized by working with people who are experiencing new life challenges or exploring their identities (e.g., gender identity, sexual identity, cultural).

My approach focuses on understanding how one views the world, themselves, and others based on their background and experiences. I enjoy working in collaboration with my clients to strengthen their coping skills, deepen their understanding of themselves, and to empower them to use this understanding to create meaningful and practical change, and form authentic connections.

Outside of the office, I enjoy hiking, reading novels, and avoiding scratches from my sassy cat.
